MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED required; Post-secondary diploma or A.A.S. in
Welding Technology or related field with AWS, CWE, CWI and NCCER certifications preferred. Have a minimum of three (3) years successful work experience in welding and/or related fields. Teaching and robotic weld station programming experience preferred. Must be a good communicator with effective verbal and written skills;
computer skills required. Must be able to organize and provide theoretical and practical instructional activities to enable students to become AWS certified. Must possess the ability to deal pleasantly and tactfully with students and the public. Must have good organizational and planning skills. Be willing to learn and use individualized
instructional techniques. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working
