Tuesday, June 13

6 p.m. – School Board

The School Board will hold its work session at the office of the Board of Education, 103 Lock Six Rd.

 

Tuesday, June 14

7 a.m. – Executive Committee

The Hartsville/Trousdale County Executive Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting at Dillehay’s Cafe.

 

6 p.m. – Local Government Services Committee

The Local Government Services Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting in the downstairs courtroom of the County Courthouse.

 

6 p.m. – Election Commission

The Hartsville/Trousdale County Election Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Election Commission office, 214 Broadway.

 

Thursday, June 16

6 p.m. – School Board

The School Board will hold its monthly meeting at the office of the Board of Education, 103 Lock Six Rd.

 

7 p.m. – Parks & Recreation Committee

The Hartsville/Trousdale County Parks and Recreation Committee will meet in the downstairs courtroom of the County Courthouse to discuss upcoming events to be held at the City Park.

The Budget and Finance Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting in the downstairs courtroom of the County Courthouse.

The Hartsville/Trousdale County Commission will hold its regular work session in the downstairs courtroom of the County Courthouse.

The Hartsville/Trousdale County Personnel Committee will meet in the downstairs courtroom of the County Courthouse to discuss personnel policies within the county government.

The Hartsville/Trousdale County Executive Committee will hold its second regular monthly meeting in the County Mayor’s office at 328 Broadway.

7 p.m. – County Commission

The Hartsville/Trousdale County Commission will meet in regular session in the upstairs courtroom of the County Courthouse.

7 p.m. – Emergency Services Committee

The Hartsville/Trousdale County Emergency Services Committee will meet in the downstairs courtroom of the County Courthouse.

Trousdale Co. Democratic Party

There will be a meeting of the Trousdale County Democratic Party on Tuesday, June 14, at 6 p.m. in the upstairs courtroom of the County Courthouse. Gayla Hendrix, candidate for the Tennessee House District 40 seat, will be there to meet everyone.

 

American Legion

Head Start enrollment

Trousdale County Pre-K/Mid-Cumberland Head Start is currently recruiting children for the 2016-17 program year. Early Head Start accepts infants and toddlers under age 3 on Aug. 15, 2016. Trousdale County Pre-K accepts children age 4 by Aug. 15. Programs offer screenings in development, speech & language, dental, hearing, vision and number of health-related areas. Youth Football

Macon County flag football signups for ages 4-6 will be held Saturday, June 11, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the fieldhouse next to the football field in Lafayette. Commodity Distribution

Mid-Cumberland CAA will hold its Commodity Distribution on Wednesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 9, from 9 am.-3 p.m. at the Ward School building, 113 Hall Street. Distribution is funded in part by DHS and USDA. Commodities are available to households that meet income eligibility guidelines.

 

Men’s Day

Rocky Creek Fellowship Church will hold its Men’s Day on Sunday, June 12. 11 a.m. speaker will be Pastor Bobby Ray Seay.

VBS- Hartsville

Providence Presbyterian Church, Hartsville, will hold its ‘Journey Off The Map” Vacation Bible School from June 13-15, 6-8:30 p.m. Ages 3-6th grade.

 

Nashville Symphony

The Macon County Arts Council will be bringing the Nashville Symphony to Key Park, Church Street, Lafayette, for a FREE concert on Wednesday, June 15 at 7:30 p.m. If rain, venue will be Macon County High School. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the evening!

 

Yellow Jacket Golf Classic

The Yellow Jacket Golf Classic will be held Saturday, June 18, beginning at 8 a.m. at Long Hollow Golf Course. Proceeds will benefit the Trousdale County Football Scholarship Fund.
