Clarence Harold Watson, age 89, of Hartsville, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at NHC Place in Gallatin.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Dasker W. & Lola Mai Watson; brother, Gene Watson.

Survivors are: wife, Wilma Watson of Hartsville; son, Paul (Mary Ann) Watson of Bethpage; daughter, Brenda Watson of Old Hickory.

Mr. Watson enjoyed mules, horses, woodworking, reading, camping and time with family and friends.  He was a member of Dixon Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a proud Korean War Veteran.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home on Friday, May 5, officiated by Eld. Eddy Gregory.

Honorary pallbearers were: Residents & Staff of Trousdale Senior Living Center and Donnie Hines.

Active pallbearers were: Billy, Michael, Tim & Daniel Towns, Wayne Cornwell and Gerald Phillips.

Interment was in Dixon Springs Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Staff of the Trousdale Senior Living Center and NHC Place, Sumner for their love and care.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
