Three vehicle wreck ends with fatality
Trousdale starts 2013 with sorrow as a three car wreck ends with one death and three injured.
William C. Inabinet, 21, of Hartsville, driving a 2000 Ford Ranger PK, was traveling north on Highway 231 around 3:30 p.m. Jan. 2, when his vehicle collided with a 2009 Toyota DLS, which was heading south.
The wreck was just short of one mile from the intersection of Highway 231 and Highway 25.
The Toyota diver was Lola J. Brown, 62, of Lafayette, with her husband, Craig, 68.
Inabinet was then struck by a second vehicle, who was following behind him. The other vehicle was a 2000 Mercury driven by Lois D. Longnecker, 47, of Hartsville.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, Inabinet's vehicle came to rest in the northbound lane facing south, while the Browns stopped in the southbound ditch facing south and Longnecker sat down in the embankment on the north bound shoulder.
At press time, THP continues to investigate which vehicle crossed the center line.
Inabinet and Craig were not wearing seatbelts.
The Browns and Longnecker were treated for injuries.
