Jr. Jackets placed second in tournament

The Jim Satterfield Middle School Jr. Jackets advanced to the championship game in last week's Cumberland Rim Conference Tournament, but fell to Macon County 51-25.

Trace McGuire scored seven and Tristen McGuire had six. Braison Ramey and Austin Ford added four each and Colton Gammons and Wiley Barton had two apiece.

Trace McGuire, Ramey and Ford were selected for the All Tournament team.

In the semifinals, Coach Matt McFarland's guys came from behind to down Celina 36-26. Ramey tossed in 12 and Trace McGuire added 11. Ford added nine and Gammons four.

In their quarterfinal game the Jr. Jackets shot down the Westmoreland Jr. Eagles 57-43.
