Marie Allmon

Services for Ms. Allmon will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes with Bro. Matt Long officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Interment will be in Allmon Family Cemetery on Agee Branch in Gordonsville.

Ms. Allmon, 66, of Pleasant Shade, Tenn., died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage. She was born Oct. 23, 1946, in Carthage to the late J.T. Allmon and Katherine Napier.

Survivors include: children, Jonathan Connery of Houston, Texas, Angel Roberts of Carthage and Teresa Murchie of Carthage; grandchildren, Shane Lee Ramsey and Chelsea Roberts; brothers, Ray Allmon of Carthage and Jack Allmon of Conyers, Ga., and sister, Linda Garvey of Bellevue, Tenn.

Dora Nunley Carman

Services for Mrs. Carman were 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon with Dr. Larry Locke officiating. Interment is in Hartsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation was Wednesday 5–8 p.m. and Thursday after 11 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Carman, 78, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at University Medical Center.

Born Jan. 1, 1934, in Trousdale County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hettie Everett Nunley. She was a homemaker and was a member of College Hills Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Alfred N. Carman Sr. on April 30, 2010; three brothers, Branch, Forrest and Charles Nunley; and three sisters, Mildred Harris, Gertrude Dixon, and Helen Kirkman.

She is survived by three children: Merilyn (Ken) Couch of Knoxville, Alfred N. (Pat) Carman Jr. of Nashville and Robin Lynn Edwards of Lebanon; brother, James Edward Nunley of Virginia; five sisters, Faye Maberry of Carthage, Clara Eckel and Dorothy Smith of Hartsville, Laverne Hardee of Elizabethtown, Ky. and Mary Spivey of Gallatin; sister-in-law, Olene Nunley of Manchester, Md.; eight grandchildren, Kelley (Greg) Sohn, Jennifer (Bryant) Powell, Kasey Couch, Jonathan (Lila) Carman, Jeffrey (Kellye) Carman, Kim (Zach) Watson, Kristen (Branson) Stevens, and Merilyn (Daniel) Ater; 11 great-grandchildren, Krystal Robbins, Lilly Carman, Mamie Carman, Hollis Watson, Bailee and Montana Powell; Ryker and Rafe Ater, Jacqueline Stevens, John Houston and Hattie Ann Watson; and great-great-grandchild, Kaelyn Robbins.

Bill C. McClanahan

Services for Mr. McClanahan will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Anthony Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Horton and Bro. Jacky Kemp officiating. Visitation was 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, and will be 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Interment will be in Porter Cemetery.

Mr. McClanahan, 85, of Lafayette, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela K. McClanahan and son, Christopher Matt McClanahan.

Survivors include: wife, Nettie McClanahan of Lafayette; sons, Bill (Linda) McClanahan, Eugene (Jan) McClanahan, Dave McClanahan, all of Lafayette, and Ricky (Deb) Clarday of Hartsville; daughters, Debbie (Don) Harris of Lafayette, Paulette (Bill) Hall of Hartsville, Rosa (James) Birge of Westmoreland, Patty (Jerry) David of Lafayette and Melissa (Ronnie) Rose of Lafayette; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew Junior (Charlene) McClanahan of Hartsville and sisters, Myrtle (Miles) Keene of Hartsville, Annie Belle (James) Russell of Hartsville and Elsie Mae Reader of Lexington, Tenn.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Thomas Clyde "Tom" Hudson

Services for Mr. Hudson were 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Anthony Funeral Home with Bro. Woodrow Wilson officiating. Interment is in the Hartsville memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hudson, 65, of Gallatin, formerly of Hartsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Sumner regional Medical Center in Gallatin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Donie Hudson.

Survivors include: wife, Donna Hudson of Gallatin; sons, Scott Hudson of Mobile, Ala., Tommy Hudson of Gallatin and Todd Hudson of Gallatin; grandchildren, Thomas, Ashlyn, Taylor and Trinity Hudson; brother, Woodrow (Betty) Hudson Jr. of Carlton, Ga. and sisters, Marey (Ken) Coffee of New Market, Ala., and Peggy Winstead of Huntsville, Ala.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Merryman, Tony Majors, Mary Merryman, Kevin Hudson, Bobby Sanford and Mitch and Blake Merryman.

Raymond Webster Johnson

Services for Mr. Johnson will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Anthony Funeral Home with Bro. Darryl Tuner officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. and 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Interment will be in Hartsville Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson, 97, of Hartsville, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Gallatin Health Care.

Survivors include: cousins, Sarah Renfro and family and Kathryn Taylor and special friends, Mary Grace Gregory and Sarah Hogue.

Pallbearers will be Rick Evitts, David Wanstein, Gale and Dale Renfro, Stephen King and Cass Beasley. Honorary pallbearers will be Woody Badger, Lewis Beasley, Mark Hogue, Eddie Gene Gregory, Moss Cato and Wayne Jones.

Nolting J. Merryman

Crypt side service for Mr. Merryman was 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at the Westview Abbey with the Rev. Chris Moore-Keish.

Mr. Merryman, 93, of Atlanta, Ga., died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012. He was born June 21, 1919, in Hartsville, where he was raised.

He was preceded in death by mother, Pauline Bruce, and father, Goldman Merryman.

Survivors include: brother, Neal W. Merryman and niece, Faye M. Smith.

Dr. Jere Sinquefield

Services for Dr. Sinquefield were 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home in Murfreesboro with Brady Cooper officiating. Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro.

Dr. Sinquefield, 61, of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2012, at his residence. He was a native of Savannah, Tenn., but lived in Murfreesboro for the past eight years. He lived most of his life in Hartsville where he was a dentist for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Murle and Jewel Dixon Sinquefield and sister, Jan (Ned) Blake.

Survivors include: sons, Chase Sinquefield and Dr. Jess (Stacey) Sinquefield, both of Murfreesboro; daughters, Lacy (Dr. Ryan) Gregory and Lauren (Shane) Bourne, both of Murfreesboro; nephew, Ben (Teri) Blake and grandchildren, J. Paul Sinquefield, Lila Belle Sinquefield, Jewel Sinquefield, Beckham Gregory and Davis Gregory.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.

Lawrence Michael Uebelacker

Services for Mr. Uebelacker were 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at Anthony Funeral Home with Bro. John Moore officiating. Interment is in Green Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Uebelacker, 77, of Hartsville, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.

He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Uebelacker and grandson, Jonathan Berry.

Survivors include: wife, Rosemary Uebelacker of Hartsville; daughters, Eileen (Doug) Morris of Sherman, Texas, Colleen (Jeff) Berry of Hartsville, Rosemarie (Mike) Wharin of Ochocahe, Fla., Regina Kleinpeter of Hartsville and Megan (Brent) Garrett of Hartsville; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Nancy) Uebelacker of North Carolina and sisters, Betty (Carrell) Vanhausen of Colorado and Marie (Cliff) Bouder of Florida.

Pallbearers were Brent Garrett, Eddie McNeese, Jeff Berry, Tyler Street, Austin Berry, Cody Gammons, Matt Harville and Kenny Webber. Honorary pallbearers were Ayden Stevenson and Jacoby Garrett.
