Reminders for upcoming farming classes

Remember on Feb. 12, at 6 p.m., the Pasture and Forage Management class, followed by Understanding Genetics and Crossbreeding in Beef Cattle. There will be a small meal provided between classes and if you wish to attend, please R.S.V.P. by Feb. 8 to UT Extension at 374-2421.

Smith & Trousdale County will be offering the Farmland Legacy Program on Tuesday, Feb. 19 and Thursday, Feb. 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Smith County Chamber of Commerce. R.S.V.P. by Feb. 8 to UT Extension office at 374-2421.

Macon, Smith & Trousdale County Extension will be offering the Master Beef Producer Program in February and March. The Program will begin Feb. 26 at the Trousdale County Ag. Pavilion.

Friday, March 1 at 7 a.m. at Trousdale Bank & Trust, Trousdale County Extension will be holding a breakfast program about Pasture and Hay Weed Control & Herbicide Stewardship.

Smith County Extension will be offering a BQA certification program on March 5, 6 p.m. at the Smith County Chamber of Commerce. Please check your cards to see if you need to be recertified.
