Nokomis C. Bryant

Services for Mrs. Bryant will be 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at JC Hellum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tim Bryant officiating. Interment will be in Bryant Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, from 6 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bryant, 70, died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Alive Hospice.

Survivors include: daughter, Elizabeth (B.W.) Jones of Mt. Juliet; son, Eric Bryant of Nashville; four grandchildren; brothers, Geronamoe (Lorraine), of Nashville, Cordell (Ezell), of Columbus, Ohio, and Harold (Mary) Couch, of Nashville; sister, Theresa Majors Murphy of Nashville; sisters-in-law, Greely (Atha) Westbrook, Johnnie and Delores Bryant and Elnora McClure; brother-in-law, June Jackson, all of Mt. Juliet, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services for Mrs. Carter will be noon Saturday, April 14, at Greater Beech Hill M.B. Church with the Rev. Preston Douglas officating. Interment will be in Beech Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 13, from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. at Carr-Hellum Funeral Chapel and Saturday, April 14, from 11 a.m. until service at the church.

Mrs. Carter, 70, died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Survivors include: husband, Sam Carter, Jr.; son, Barry (Althea) Dillard; five grandchildren; brothers, Wilbert (Juanita) and Rais (Juanita) Adams; other relatives and friends.

Wallace Neal Cox

Services for Mr. Cox will be 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at Mt. Juliet Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, from 5 p.m. until service.
Mr. Cox, 78, died Sunday, April 8, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Gunter and parents, Willie Odell and Lewis Cox.

Survivors include: wife, Theresa Kurtz Cox of Hermitage; children, Sandra Chadwell, Mark (Maria) Pooley, Phil Pooley, Brad Pooley and Traci (Joseph) DiMare; sister, Mary Morefield; brother, Roy Cox; Danielle Stone, Scott Blackburn and four other grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
