Ann Murray Brewington
Services for Mrs. Brewington will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon Lee officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday and noon until the service Sunday at the funeral home.Mrs. Brewington, 76, of Lebanon, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Quality Care Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late William Ray and Martha Altie Presley Murray. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of God.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Lin Brewington; four sisters, Dora Locke, Frances Cox, Wilberta Dies and Shirley Brewington; and three brothers, J.T., Jack and Carl Murray. Survivors include: four children, Martin (Linda Kay Brewington of the Grant community, Martha (Jerry) Davis of Lebanon; Robert (Susan) Brewington of Hartsville and Mary Yager of Lebanon; sister, Sadie Martin of Lebanon; five brothers, Hubert, Eugene, Bobby, Raymond and Glen Murray, all of Lebanoon; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eric Orrand, Scott Brewington, Nick Yager, John and Shane White and Don Hemontoler.
Wilson Wauford Hudson
Services for Mr. Hudson will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15 at Watertwon First Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Jones Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. until the service Sunday at Hunter Funeral Home.
Mr. Hudson, 88, of Watertown, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 at his residence. He was a farmer and long time member of Watertown First Baptist, where he served as Deacon Emeritus and Sunday School teacher.
He was preceded in death by great-grandson, Zachary Close; son-in-law, Arnold Wingate; sisters, Ellen Frances Bass and Willette Hamilton; brothers, Harold, John Hollis, James, Byron Wesley and Haley Hudson; an infant sister and an infant brother. Survivors include: wife, Verdie Hudson of Watertown; children, Betty (Don) Lawrence of Old Hickory, Nancy Close of Watertown, Kay Wingate of Watertown, Doris (Byron) Barnes of Pleasant Shade and Roger (Karen) Hudson of Murfreesboro; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Agee of Watertown and Mabel Hudson of Gallatin; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Alan and Michael Lawrence, Dwayne, Daryl and David Close, Daniel Hudson, Greg Anderson, Matthew and Nathan Barnes, Brian Baskin, Jay Wingate and Greg Allison. Honorary pallbearers will be the Businessmen’s Sunday School Class.
