James Edward Malone
Services for Mr. Malone will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at Hunter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hearn Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. until services Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Malone, 81, of Watertown, died Friday, May 11, at his home. He was a retired electrician and plumber and a member of Round Lick Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Essie Tarpley Malone; a sister, Lucille Malone; and a brother, Carl Wilson Malone.
Survivors include: his wife, Helen Patton Malone of Watertown; two daughters, Faye (Chris) Hamilton and Raye Malone of Watertown; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Katherine Hamilton; a brother, John H. (Martha Jo) Malone of Watertown; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
Graveside services for Mr. Rollins will be 1 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday and prior to services Sunday.
Mrs. Rollins, 101, of Statesville, died Friday, May 11, 2007, at Cedars Health Care in Lebanon. He was a homemaker and a member of Statesville United Methodist Church for 87 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Rollins; a son, Cleo Rollins; an infant daughter, Madeline Rollins; and her parents, Jim and Alma Harvey.
Survivors include: a daughter, Ruth (Harold) Hallman of Statesville; three grandchildren, Diane (Floyd) Gaddis of Statesville, Dewayne (Linda) Hallman of Sevierville and Connie McPeak of Statesville; four great-grandchildren, Lori (Dan) Major, Shannon (Tim) Parker, Jeremy (Beth) McPeak and Jeff Hallman; seven great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandson; and a sister, Inez Lawrence of Nashville.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
James T. Bond
Services for Mr. Bond will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 14, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wendell Byrd and Jim Cain officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 12-7 p.m. Sunday. A Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Mr. Bond, 64, of Goodlettsville, died Friday, May 11, 2007. He was a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1963. He was a member of Lebanon Lodge #98 F&AM, the York Rite and Al Menah Shrine Center. He was a past president of the Drug and Bugle Corp, Chief Parade Marshall in 2000, a member of the “Q” and the American Legion Post #82. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include: his wife, Janice Bond of Goodlettsville; two sons, Andy (Tracey) Bond of Mt. Juliet and Tim Bond of Nashville; two step-daughters, Debbie (Tommy) Hunter and Cindy (Doyle) Stacey; four step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be George Farrell, Howard Davis, Mike Martin, Gale Robinson, Bobby Head, Billy Burgess and Wayne Branch. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the D&B Mountaineers, American Legion Post #82 and Al Menah Shrine Center.
