Wilma Dean Watson, age 88, of Hartsville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at NHC Place in Gallatin.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Harold Watson; brother, Sam Simmons; parents, Lloyd & Gracie Simmons.

Survivors are: son, Paul (Mary Ann) Watson of Bethpage; daughter, Brenda Watson of Old Hickory; four sisters, Annice Jones of Lafayette, Mary Stone of Westmoreland, Ester (Robert) Stidham of Westmoreland, Ruby (Corbert) Rader of Gordonsville.

Mrs. Watson was a member of Dixon’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She loved singing, flowers and crafting and she loved being a nurse.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 10, officiated by Bro. Johnny Carver.

Honorary pallbearers were: residents and staff of Trousdale Senior Living Center.

Active pallbearers were: Cliff Jones, Rob Stidham, Charles Rader, Eugene Watson, Phil Simmons and Donnie Hines.

Interment was in Dixon Springs Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Tennessee.
