MT. JULIET — Watertown’s girls picked up their first win of the season Tuesday night with a 30-17 win over Mt. Juliet Christian.
The Tigerettes led 3-1 following the first quarter, 12-5 at halftime and 19-10 through three periods as Watertown improved to 1-4.
Heather Sells scored seven points for Watertown while Jo Beth Davenport finished with five, Hayley Clark four, Megan Bryan three; Kea Thompson, Megan Bain, Brianna Mayle, Kelsey Bayse and Morgan Gartner two each and Samantha Wright a free throw.
Emily Threadgill led all scorers with eight points for Mt. Juliet Christian while Rachel Bean finished with four, Sarah Inman three and Terra McQueen two.
Watertown will host Gordonsville at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
