Annual Decoration Day weekend
The Green Grove Cemetery Committee is sponsoring its annual Decoration Day weekend Friday through Sunday at the cemetery at 4065 Pleasant Valley Road in Hartsville.
This is a public event, and all donations will go to support the maintenance of the cemetery.

Golf tournament
The Hartsville Rotary Club is holding its 20th annual Rotary Golf Tournament on Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Long Hollow Golf Course at 1080 Long Hollow Pike in Gallatin.

The first concert of the Downtown Sound summer music series will be held on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Court Street in downtown Hartsville.
Local vendors and food trucks will be open between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. with live music from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

An all-class reunion will be held for Trousdale County High School/Ward School on June 1 at Trousdale County High School at 262 West McMurry Blvd. in Hartsville.

Veterans of Foreign Wars meet, greet, eat
The James Cato Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4842 meets on the first Tuesday of every month, with a meet, greet, and eat at 6 p.m., followed by a meeting at 7 p.m. at the VFW Post at 209 East Main St. in Hartsville.

Meetings
The Trousdale County Commission will hold budget hearings at 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the courthouse, located at 200 East Main St. in Hartsville.
The Trousdale County Library Board will meet on Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. at the public library, located at 211 White Oak St. in Hartsville.
The Hartsville-Trousdale County Volunteer Fire Department will meet on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the fire hall, located at 219 Broadway St. in Hartsville.
Trousdale County Elementary School will hold a Title I meeting at 3 p.m. May 15 at the school, located at 115 Lock Six Road in Hartsville. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss 2024-25 Title I funds, the Parent Involvement Plan, and to review the School Compact. This meeting is open to the public.
